AIMMM Welcomes Ceasefire Between USA-Israel and Iran, Condemns Threats to World Order and Ongoing Atrocities in Palestine

New Delhi: The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM), a confederation of leading Muslim organizations in India, welcomes the announcement of a ceasefire between the United States, Israel, and the Islamic Republic of Iran. We believe that this cessation of hostilities is a positive and necessary step toward preventing further escalation and devastation in the region, particularly in West Asia. AIMMM President, Mr. Feroz Ahmad aided that the attacks on Iran are an unwarranted aggression on a sovereign country and a violation of international laws. President Trump’s attacks and aggression have posed serious threats to the world order and peace in the region. However, the AIMMM expresses its deep anguish and unequivocal condemnation of the continued destruction, loss of civilian lives, and massive humanitarian crisis caused by Israel’s brutal assault on Gaza. The indiscriminate bombing of civilian areas, targeting of hospitals, schools, journalists, and aid workers constitutes a grave violation of international law, amounting to war crimes. We are gravely concerned by the continued complicity and silence of powerful global actors, particularly the United States, whose unwavering support for Israel has emboldened its violations of human rights and international norms. The systematic and prolonged suffering inflicted upon the Palestinian people, including collective punishment, siege, displacement, and denial of basic human rights, demands urgent global attention and accountability. The AIMMM calls upon the international community, including the United Nations and global civil society, to: The AIMMM reiterates its solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and stands with all peace-loving voices across the world who are striving for justice, human dignity, and a world free from occupation and war.

آل انڈیا مسلم مجلس مشاورت نے امریکہ-اسرائیل اور ایران کے درمیان جنگ بندی کا خیرمقدم کیا

 دنیا کے امن کو درپیش خطرات پر اظہار تشویش اور فلسطین میں انسانی حقوق کی پامالیوں اور جنگی جرائم کی شدید مذمت نئی دہلی: ہندوستان کی سرکردہ مسلم تنظیموں کا وفاق آل انڈیا مسلم مجلس مشاورت نے امریکہ اسرائیل اور ایران کے درمیان جنگ بندی کے اعلان کا خیرمقدم کیا ہے۔ یہ جنگ بندی مغربی ایشیا میں مزید تباہی اور کشیدگی سے بچاؤ کے لیے ایک اچھا اور ضروری قدم ہے۔ مشاورت کے صدر جناب فیروز احمد ایڈوکیٹ نے جنگ بندی کا خیرمقدم کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ ایران پر حملے ایک خودمختار پر بلا جواز جارحیت، اس کی خود مختاری کی پامامالی اور بین الاقوامی قوانین کی خلاف ورزی ہے۔ صدر ٹرمپ کے حملوں اور جارحیت سے عالمی نظام اور خطے میں امن کو شدید خطرات لاحق ہو گئے ہیں۔ مشاورت نے اسی کے ساتھ غزہ میں جاری اسرائیل کے وحشیانہ حملوں، عام شہریوں کے قتل عام اور انسانی بحران پر شدید رنج و غم اور سخت مذمت کا اظہار کیا ہے۔اس کا ماننا ہے کہ اسپتالوں، اسکولوں، صحافیوں اور امدادی کارکنوں کو نشانہ بنانا بین الاقوامی قوانین کی کھلی خلاف ورزی اور جنگی جرائم کے زمرے میں آتا ہے۔ مشاورت کو امریکہ جیسے بااثر عالمی طاقتوں کی اسرائیل کی کھلی حمایت پر شدید تشویش ہے، جو اسے انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزیوں اور عالمی اصولوں کو پامال کرنے کی شہ دے رہی ہے۔ فلسطینی عوام پر مسلط طویل عرصے سے جاری مظالم، محاصرہ، جبری بے دخلی اور بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی پامالی عالمی برادری کے لیے ایک کڑی آزمائش ہے۔ مشاورت عالمی برادری، اقوام متحدہ اور عالمی ضمیر سے اپیل کرتی ہے کہ وہ: 1.             غزہ سمیت تمام متاثرہ علاقوں میں فوری اور مستقل جنگ بندی کو یقینی بنائیں اور عام شہریوں کو تحفظ دیں۔ 2.             جنگی جرائم کے مرتکبین کو بین الاقوامی عدالتوں کے ذریعے انصاف کے کٹہرے میں لایا جائے۔ 3.             اس بحران کی بنیادی وجہ اسرائیل کے غیر قانونی قبضے اور نسل پرستانہ پالیسیوں کا خاتمہ کیا جائے۔ 4.             غزہ کی ناکہ بندی ختم کی جائے اور انسانی امداد کی آزادانہ فراہمی کو یقینی بنایا جائے۔ 5.             فلسطینی عوام کے حق خودارادیت اور بین الاقوامی قانون پر مبنی منصفانہ امن کی کوششوں کو بحال کیا جائے۔ مشاورت فلسطینی عوام کے ساتھ مکمل یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتی ہے اور دنیا بھر کے تمام انصاف پسند، امن دوست اور انسانی وقار کے علمبرداروں کے ساتھ کھڑی ہے۔

AIMMM Strongly Condemns the FIR and Arrest of Dr. Ali Mahmudabad

Dr. Ali, a distinguished scholar is Honorable Member of AIMMM, the confederation of Muslim organizations and distinguished individuals in India New Delhi: The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM) expresses its deep concern and unequivocal condemnation over the registration of an FIR and subsequent arrest of Dr. Ali Mahmudabad, a distinguished scholar, professor of political science, and honorable member of AIMM reportedly on charges of making so-called “anti-national” remarks. AIMMM added in a press note that Dr. Mahmudabad is a respected academic and public intellectual known for his nuanced, scholarly contributions to political thought and democratic discourse. The labeling of dissenting views or critical academic analysis as “anti-national” is a disturbing trend that threatens the foundational principles of democracy, academic freedom, and freedom of expression as enshrined in our Constitution. Arresting a scholar for their academic or public statements is not only an assault on intellectual freedom but also sets a dangerous precedent for the criminalization of thought. It reflects a growing intolerance towards critical engagement and diverse viewpoints in our society. The AIMMM’s President Mr. Feroze Ahmad Advocate urges the authorities to immediately withdraw the charges against Dr. Ali Mahmudabad, release him without delay, and ensure his safety and dignity. We call upon civil society, academic institutions, and all justice-loving citizens to stand in solidarity with Dr. Mahmudabad and resist the misuse of law as a tool for silencing critical voices. India’s strength lies in its pluralism, intellectual diversity, and democratic values. Suppressing these through coercion or intimidation undermines the very spirit of the republic.

AIMMM’s Former President, Mr. Navaid Hamid, honoured with the Qaide Millat Award

Prof۔ Vipin Kumar Tripathi and John Dayal also honoured with the award for probity in Public Life New Delhi: The prestigious southern Indian institution, Qaide Millat Educational and Social Trust (Chennai), held a grand ceremony at the Music Academy on Saturday, where the former President of the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM) and General Secretary of the Movement for Empowerment of Indian Muslims (MOEMIM), Mr. Naveed Hamid, renowned human rights activist Mr. John Dayal, and founder of the Sadbhavana Mission, distinguished scientist Prof. Vipin Kumar Tripathi, were honoured with the Qaide Millat Award. The award presented by former Madras High Court judge, Justice K.N. Basha.This annual award, given for probity in political / public life, consists of a certificate of appreciation, a cash prize of five lakh rupees, and shawl. Congratulating the awardees on the occasion, Justice Basha said that he felt honoured and privileged to present the awards to individuals who serve as beacons of light amidst the darkness of the current environment while Mr. M G Dawood Miyakhan, general Secretary of the trust, said “the awardees are based on their unblemished track record of integrity in political and personal life in India.”  Retired CSI Bishop Dr. V Devasagayam said while facilitating the awardees “we are here to recognise your services, support your initiatives and to wish that you continue your fight in spite of all the odds.”The event was presided over by the President of the Qaide Millat Trust, Qazi Dr. Salahuddin Muhammad Ayub, while announcement the awards and introduction of awardees were made by the Trust’s General Secretary.On this occasion, Dr. S. Sadiq, former Vice-Chancellor of Madras University, and retired CSI Bishop Dr. V Devasagayam, were also honoured. General Secretary Dawood Miyan Khan, Treasurer S. His significant contributions to the development of the country and community after independence are widely acknowledged.As a member of the Constituent Assembly, a Member of Parliament in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, and as the founder-leader of the Indian Union Muslim League, his services are considered unforgettable. He was also among the founding members of the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM).The Qaide Millat Trust instituted this award on the 40th death anniversary of Maulvi Muhammad Ismail, and it is awarded annually to distinguished individuals active in public life.
