Feroze Ahmed Advocate Urges BJP Governments to Stop Harassing Madrasas New Delhi: The Supreme Court’s decision, overturning the Allahabad High Court’s ruling declaring the Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Board unconstitutional, is a lesson for communal fascists, according to the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat, which has welcomed this decision. This ruling has come at a time when Islamic madrasas are being harassed in various ways in BJP-ruled states. This statement was made on Tuesday by the President of the AIMM, Firoz Ahmed Advocate, in his reaction to the Supreme Court’s verdict. He noted that BJP governments and government agencies are harassing madrasas, emboldening communal elements who also wish to harm religious educational institutions. The Allahabad High Court’s ruling, which had declared the Madrasa Education Board Act unconstitutional, was a part of this trend.  The Supreme Court, in its decision, stated that imparting religious education to children is not illegal. The court has clearly emphasized that secularism means “live and let live.” This supports principles of harmony and coexistence in India’s pluralistic society, encouraging a diverse educational approach. The decision further clarified that the Utter Pradesh Madrasa Education Act is a part of the state’s responsibilities, meaning that ensuring quality education and enabling students to participate socially and economically is part of the government’s duty. The Supreme Court connected Article 21(a) and the Right to Education with the rights of religious and linguistic minorities, stating that madrasas can provide secular education while maintaining their religious identity. In its statement, the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat pointed out that most children studying in madarsas come from families living below the poverty line, and these madrasas offer free education to all without any discrimination, making a significant contribution to the country’s literacy rate. The Uttar Pradesh government has been sensationalizing the issue by categorizing even informal, part-time religious institutions as madrasas. Interference in madrasa activities goes against the Constitution and the law. The constitutional rights of Muslims, religious freedom, educational autonomy, and the holistic development of children cannot be compromised. Harassing madrasas under the guise of inquiries is also a disservice to national and society interests. The Right to Education Act mandates the central and state governments to ensure quality education in children’s chosen institutions, and this law provides protection to religious madrasas, which bear the educational responsibility of over ten million children across the country, including millions in Uttar Pradesh, significantly contributing to the country’s literacy rate.

بی جے پی کی حکومتیں دینی مدارس کو ہراساں کرنابندکریں: فیروزاحمدایڈوکیٹ نئی دہلی: اترپردیش مدرسہ ایجوکیشن بورڈکوالٰہ آباد ہائی کورٹ کے ذریعے غیرآئینی قراردئے جانے کے خلاف سپریم کورٹ کا فیصلہ فرقہ پرست فاشسٹوں کے لیے سبق آموزہے۔ آل انڈیا مسلم مجلس مشاورت اس کا خیرمقدم کرتی ہے۔یہ فیصلہ ایسے وقت میں آیا ہے جب بی جے پی کے زیراقتدار ریاستوں میں مدارس اسلامیہ کوطرح طرح سے ہراساں کیاجارہاہے۔ ان خیالات کا اظہارمنگل کو یہاں ملک کی مسلم تنظیموں اور ممتازشخصیتوں کے وفاق(مشاورت) کے صدر فیروزاحمد ایڈوکیٹ نے سپریم کورٹ کے فیصلے پر اپنے ردعمل میں کیا، انہوں نے کہاکہ بی جے پی کی حکومتیں اورسرکاری ایجنسیاں مدارس کو ہراساں کرتی ہیں اوراس سے حوصلہ پاکر فرقہ پرست عناصربھی دینی مدارس کو نقصان پہنچانا چاہتے ہیں، الٰہ آباد ہائیکورٹ کا فیصلہ اسی سلسلے کی ایک کڑی تھاجس میں کہا گیا تھا کہ مدرسہ ایجوکیشن بورڈ ایکٹ غیرآئینی ہے۔واضح رہے کہ عدالت عظمیٰ نے اپنے فیصلے میں کہا ہے کہ بچوں کو دینی تعلیم و تربیت دینا کوئی غیر قانونی عمل نہیں ہے۔عدالت نے بڑی وضاحت کے ساتھ کہا ہے کہ سیکولرزم کا مطلب ہے ”جیو اور جینے دو“۔ اس سے ہندوستان کے تکثیری معاشرے میں متنوع تعلیمی نقطہ نظر کے ساتھ بقائے باہمی کے اصولوں اور ہم آہنگی کو فروغ ملتا ہے۔ اس فیصلے میں یہ بھی کہا گیا ہے کہ مدرسہ ایکٹ ریاست کی ذمہ داریوں کا حصہ ہے، لہٰذا اس میں تعلیم کو معیاری بنانا اور طلبا کو اس قابل بنانا کہ ان میں سماجی اور معاشی سطح پر شراکت داری کی اہلیت پیدا ہو، حکومت کی ذمہ داریوں میں شامل ہے۔ سپریم کوٹ نے آرٹیکل 21 اے اور رائٹ ٹو ایجوکیشن کو مذہبی و لسانی اقلیتوں کے حقوق سے جوڑتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ مدارس اپنے مذہبی کردار کو برقرار رکھتے ہوئے سیکولر تعلیم دے سکتے ہیں۔    آل انڈیا مسلم مجلس مشاورت کے صدر فیروز احمد ایڈو کیٹ نے اپنے بیان میں کہا ہے کہ مدارس میں زیر تعلیم بچوں کی اکثریت خط افلاس کے نیچے جینے والوں کی ہے اور یہ مدارس بلاتفریق سب کوفری تعلیم دیتے ہیں، ملک کی شرح خواندگی میں ان کاگرانقدرتعاون ہے، حکومت اترپردیش غیررسمی جزوقتی دینی درسگاہوں کوبھی مدارس میں شمار کرکے سنسنی پھیلاتی آئی ہے، مدارس کی سرگرمیوں  میں مداخلت آئین و قانون کے منافی ہے،مسلمانوں کے آئینی حقوق، مذہبی آزادی،تعلیمی خودمختاری اوربچوں کی ہمہ گیرنشوونما کوپامال کر نے کی اجازت کسی کو بھی نہیں دی جاسکتی۔ مدارس کو انکوائری کے نام پر ہراساں کیا جانا بھی ملک اور سماج کے مفادات کی پامالی ہے۔حق تعلیم ایکٹ مرکز اور ریاستوں کو بچوں کی پسند کے تعلیمی اداروں میں ہی معیاری تعلیم مہیا کرانے کا پابند بناتاہے اوراس قانون میں دینی مدارس کو تحفظ حاصل ہے اور یہ مدارس ملک کے ایک کروڑ سے زائداورریاست اترپردیش کیلاکھوں بچوں کی تعلیم کا بوجھ اٹھاتیاوریہ ملک کی شرح خواندگی میں گرانقدرتعاون کرتے ہیں۔

AIMMM’s Protest against CBSE’s Hostile Policy towards Urdu

Memorandum to CBSE Chairman: Denial of Examinations in Urdu is a Clear Violation of Students’ Constitutional and Legal Rights; Mushawarat Calls for Intervention from the Union Minister of Education Statement by Mushawarat President Feroze Ahmed: Running CBSE on Commercial Lines is an Attack on the Spirit of Democracy and the National Educational Policy of Multilingualism New Delhi: The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat, the only federation of prominent Muslim organizations and personalities of eminence in the country, has submitted a memorandum to Mr. Rahul Singh (IAS), Chairman of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), regarding the board’s hostile approach toward Urdu in its examination policies. The memorandum states that denying Urdu medium school students the right to take exams in Urdu is a clear violation of the constitutional and legal rights of Urdu-speaking children. Recently, Mushawarat had also passed a detailed resolution during its annual joint meeting to strongly protest this decision by the board. Background and Concerns The memorandum outlines that in 2010, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) established three model schools for Urdu-speaking children in Hyderabad, Nuh (Haryana), and Darbhanga (Bihar). CBSE had recognized to these schools with Urdu as the primary medium of instruction. Until 2020, the board provided examination question papers for these institutions in English, Hindi, and Urdu. However, since 2021, CBSE removed Urdu as an option for question papers without prior consultation, impacting students at MANUU’s schools and other Urdu medium institutions. Since then, these students have faced academic challenges as they are forced to answer questions provided only in Hindi and English. Additionally, in June 2024, CBSE introduced a policy requiring prior permission to evaluate answer sheets written in languages other than Hindi or English, except in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. This has further increased the difficulties faced by Urdu medium students across the country.  The Severity of Impact Mushawarat’s resolution and memorandum further state that this policy has not only affected institutions affiliated with MANUU but has also jeopardized the access and sustainability of Urdu medium education nationwide, even impacting central university like MANUU. By preventing students from writing exams in their mother tongue, CBSE undermines the principles of multilingualism and inclusivity adopted in the New Education Policy 2024, which emphasizes promoting education in regional languages. The AIMMM emphasized that Urdu is always one of the scheduled national languages of the country, the mother tongue of over sixty million Indian citizens, and an official language in several states. The restriction on providing question papers and conducting exams in Urdu is a clear violation of the rights granted by the constitution and law. Mushawarat’s Demands In light of the facts above mentioned, the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat demands the immediate restoration of the previous policy, allowing students to receive question papers in Urdu and write their answers in Urdu. Mushawarat President Feroze Ahmed, Advocate, said “running CBSE on commercial lines is against the spirit of democracy. He urged the Union Minister of Education to intervene, as promoting multilingualism is a responsibility of the government. Mushawarat calls for an urgent review of the policy restricting the use of Urdu in examinations, so that the affected are not forced to resort to protests or legal battles.

اردو کے تعلق سے سی بی ایس ای کی معاندانہ پالیسی پر مشاورت کا احتجاج

سی بی ایس ای کے چیئرمین کے نام عرضداشت، اردو میں امتحانات لینے سے انکار بچوں کے آئینی حقوق اور قانون کی کھلی خلاف ورزی، مرکزی وزیر تعلیم سے مداخلت کا مطالبہ، مشاورت کے صدر فیروز احمد ایڈوکیٹ نے کہا کہ سی بی ایس ای کو تجارتی خطوط پر چلانا جمہوریت کی روح اور کثیرلسانیت کی قومی تعلیمی پالیسی پر حملہ ہے نئی دہلی:ملک کی مؤقرمسلم تنظیموں اور ممتاز رہنماؤں کے وفاق آل انڈیا مسلم مجلس مشاورت نے سینٹرل بورڈ آف سیکنڈری ایجوکیشن (سی بی ایس ای) کی امتحانات سے متعلق پالیسی میں اردو کے ساتھ بورڈ کے معاندانہ رویے پر بورڈ کے چیئرمین مسٹر راہل سنگھ (آئی اے ایس) کے نام عرضداشت میں کہا ہے کہ اردو میڈیم اسکولوں کے طلبہ و طالبات کے امتحانات اردو میں لینے سے انکار اردو لسانی بچوں کے آئینی حقوق اور قانون کی کھلی خلاف ورزی ہے۔ مشاورت نے گزشتہ دنوں اپنے سالانہ مشترکہ اجلاس میں اس سلسلے میں ایک تفصیلی قرارداد منظور کرکے بھی بورڈ کے فیصلے پر سخت احتجاج کیا تھا۔ پس منظراور خدشات عرضداشت میں کہا گیا ہے کہ مولانا آزاد نیشنل اردو یونیورسٹی (MANUU) نے 2010 میں حیدرآباد، نوح (ہریانہ) اور دربھنگہ (بہار) میں اردولسانی بچوں کے لیے تین ماڈل اسکول قائم کیے تھے۔ ان اسکولوں کوسی بی ایس ای نے اردو بنیادی ذریعہ تعلیم کے ساتھ تسلیم کرتے ہوئے منظوری دی تھی۔ 2020 تک بورڈ ان اداروں کے طلباء کے لیے انگریزی، ہندی اور اردو میں امتحانات کے پرچہ سوالات فراہم کرتا رہا لیکن2021 سیاس نے اردو کو سوالات کے پرچوں کے آپشن کے طور پر بغیر کسی پیشگی مشورے کے ختم کر دیا جس سے مانو کے اسکولوں اوردوسرے اردو میڈیم اسکولوں کے طلبا ء وطالبات متاثر ہوئے۔ اس کے بعد سے ان بچوں کو مشکلات کا سامنا ہے کیونکہ انہیں صرف ہندی اور انگریزی میں فراہم کردہ سوالات کے جوابات دینے پر مجبور کیا گیاہے۔ مزید برآں، جون 2024 میں، بورڈ (CBSE) نے ایک اضافی پالیسی متعارف کروائی جس کے تحت ہندی یا انگریزی کے علاوہ کسی اور زبان میں لکھے گئے پرچوں کی جانچ کے لیے سوائے قومی دارالحکومت دہلی کے پیشگی اجازت کی شرط رکھی گئی ہے۔ اس سے ملک بھر میں اردو میڈیم طلباء کے لیے مشکلات مزید بڑھ گئی ہیں۔ اثرات کی سنگینی مشاورت نے اپنی قرارداد اور اس عرضداشت میں یہ بھی کہا ہے کہ اس پالیسی نے نہ صرف مانو سے ملحقہ اداروں کو متاثر کیا ہے بلکہ ملک گیر سطح پر اردو میڈیم تعلیم کی رسائی اور استحکام کو بھی خطرے میں ڈال دیا ہے، یہاں تک کہ مانو جیسی مرکزی یونیورسٹی بھی اس کی زد میں آگئی ہے۔ طلباء کو ان کی مادری زبان میں امتحانات لکھنے سے روک کرسی بی ایس ای، نئی قومی تعلیمی پالیسی 2024 میں اپنائی گئی کثیر لسانیت و جامعیت کی پالیسی کو نقصان پہنچا رہا ہے جو علاقائی زبانوں میں تعلیم کو فروغ دینے پر زور دیتی ہے۔ یہ عرضداشت زور دے کر باور کراتی ہے کہ اردو ہمیشہ سے ملک کی درج فہرست قومی زبانوں میں سے ایک ہے اور ہندوستان کے چھ کروڑ سے زائد شہریوں کی مادری زبان ہے، نیز یہ کئی ریاستوں کی سرکاری زبانوں میں سے ایک ہے۔ سوالات کے پرچے اردو میں جاری کرنے پر پابندی اور اردو میں امتحانات لینے سے انکار کرنا آئین اور قانون کے ذریعے دیے گئے حقوق کی کھلی خلاف ورزی ہے۔ مطالبات مندرجہ بالا حقائق کے پیش نظر آل انڈیا مسلم مجلس مشاورت نے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ سابقہ پالیسی کو فوری طور پر بحال کیا جائے جس کے تحت طلباء کو اردو میں سوالات کے پرچے ملیں اور وہ اردو میں اپنے جوابات لکھ سکیں۔ مشاورت کے صدرفیروز احمد ایڈوکیٹ نے کہا ہے کہ سی بی ایس ای کو تجارتی (کمرشیل) خطوط پر چلانا جمہوریت کی روح کے منافی ہے۔ مرکزی وزیر تعلیم کو مداخلت کرنی چاہیے۔کثیر لسانیت کو فروغ دینا حکومت کا فرض ہے۔ امتحانات میں اردو کے استعمال کو محدود کرنے کی پالیسی پر فوری نظرثانی کی جائے اور متاثرین کو سڑکوں پر اترنے اور قانون کی لڑائی چھیڑنے کے لیے مجبور نہ کیا جائے۔

CM Yogi Directly Responsible for Bahraich Riots, Says Mushawarat Asking Him to Resign

17-10-2024 NEW DELHI — The All India Muslim Majlis e Mushawarat (AIMMM), a confederation of Muslim organisations and personalities of eminence, has said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is directly responsible for the violence in Bahraich. It expressed its deep concerns over the violence that has been going on since Sunday in Mehsi and other places of Bahraich with the support of the police. Feroze Ahmed, president of AIMMM said that the social fabric of the country has been seriously under danger by the politics of communal hatred and violence. He said that the Uttar Pradesh police are supporting the rioters. Ahmad said that the acts of violence that took place in Bahraich were not accidental, they were planned actions. First, there was a riot and now innocent people are being oppressed, he said. In another development, Ahmad, a senior Supreme Court lawyer, described the decision of the Karnataka High Court in quashing the case against the accused persons who entered a mosque and shouted Jai Shri Ram slogans. The accused “had conspired to destroy social harmony and law and order,” he said adding that the court’s remark that chanting Jai Shri Ram inside the mosque does not hurt anyone’s religious sentiments was regrettable. He said that miscreants are encouraged by the same behaviour of police and judges.

ملک کے سماجی تانے بانے کو سنگین خطرات لاحق، نفرت اور تشدد کی سیاست ناقابل قبول: فیروز احمد ایڈوکیٹ نئی دہلی: بہرائچ کے مہسی اور دوسرے مقامات پر پولیس کی پشت پناہی میں اتوار سے جاری فسادات پر آل انڈیا مسلم مجلس مشاورت نے سخت افسوس کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ فرقہ وارانہ منافرت اور تشدد کی سیاست سے ملک کے سماجی تانے بانے کو سنگین خطرات لاحق ہیں۔ مشاورت کے صدر فیروز احمد ایڈوکیٹ نے اترپردیش کی یوگی حکومت کو اس کے لیے براہ راست ذمہ دار قرار دیتے ہوئے، وزیر اعلی سے استعفیٰ کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔انہوں نے کہا ہے کہ یوپی پولیس بلوائیوں کی پشت پناہی کررہی ہے، تصویروں اور ویڈیوز میں دیکھا جاسکتا ہے کہ اقلیتی آبادی پر حملہ کرنے والی بھیڑ میں کبھی پولیس آگے آگے اور دنگائی پیچھے پیچھے چل رہے ہیں جبکہ کبھی دنگائی پیچھے پیچھے اور پولیس آگے آگے چل رہی ہے۔صدر مشاورت نے کہا کہ بہرائچ میں تشدد کی جو کارروائیاں ہوئیں وہ اتفاقی نہیں، منصوبہ بندکارروائیاں ہیں، پہلے فساد کرایا گیا اور اب بے گناہوں پر ظلم ڈھایا جارہا ہے۔سپریم کورٹ کے سینئر ایڈوکیٹ فیروز احمد نے کرناٹک ہائی کورٹ کے اس فیصلے کو بھی انتہائی افسوسناک بتایا ہے جس میں اشتعال انگیزی کے ان ملزمین پر درج کردہ مقدمہ کو منسوخ کردیا گیا ہے جنھوں نے ایک مسجد میں گھس کر جے شری رام کا نعرہ لگایا اور علاقے کی سماجی ہم آہنگی اور امن و قانون کو تباہ کرنے کی سازش کی تھی۔انہوں نے کہا کہ عدالت کا یہ ریمارکس زیادہ قابل افسوس ہے کہ مسجد کے اندر جے شری رام کا نعرہ لگانے سے کسی کے مذہبی جذبات مجروح نہیں ہوتے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ پولیس اور ججوں کے اسی رویے سے شرپسندوں کی حوصلہ افزائی ہوتی ہے۔ درگا پوجا کے جلوس کے دوران ایک مسلمان کے گھر پر چڑھ کر اس پر موجود سبز مذہبی پرچم کو ہٹانا، بھگوا پرچم لہرانا اور جلوس کے ساتھ ڈی جے پر اشتعال انگیز گانا چلانا علاقہ میں فساد پھوٹ پڑنے کا سبب بنا کیونکہ پولیس نے شر پسندوں کو اس سے باز رکھنے کی کوشش نہیں کی۔یوپی کی حکومت و انتظامیہ فساد پر قابو پانے میں ہنوزناکام ہے، لگاتار دوسرے تیسرے دن بھی اقلیتی علاقوں پر حملے ہوئے، جمعرات کو ایک فرضی انکاؤنٹر میں پولیس نے مسلم نوجوانوں کو شدید زخمی کردیا اور اقلیتی فرقہ سے تعلق رکھنے والے لوگوں کو یک طرفہ طور پر تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا جارہا ہے۔ بہرائچ کی مہسی تحصیل کے مہراج گنج میں اتوار کی شام پھوٹ پڑنے والے فساد کا دائرہ دیہاتوں تک پھیل گیا اور شرپسندوں نے بے روک ٹوک اقلیتی فرقہ کے مکانوں، دکانوں اور عبادت گاہوں کو دن بھر نشانہ بنایا۔ شرپسندافرادگروپ کی شکل میں آس پاس کے مواضعات میں سرگرم رہے اور جابجا اب بھی حملے کررہے ہیں کیونکہ ان کو پولیس اور حکومت کی پشت پناہی حاصل ہے۔ صدر مشاورت نے کہا کہ یہ سلسلہ اس وقت تک رک نہیں سکتا جب تک کہ یوگی آدتیہ ناتھ اقتدار میں ہیں۔مقامی باشندے پولیس اور انتظامیہ کی بے حسی کی تنقید کر رہے ہیں لیکن ان کی فریاد سننے والا کوئی نہیں ہے۔ بلوائیوں کا گروپ جب گاؤں میں توڑ پھوڑ، آتشزنی اور لوٹ مار کرکے چلا جاتا ہے تب پولیس آتی ہے اور وہ الٹے مظلوموں کو نشانہ بناتی ہے۔ضلع میں انٹر نیٹ خدمات بند ہیں۔ پولیس نے حالات قابو میں آجانے کا دعویٰ کیاہے لیکن سچائی یہ ہے کہ بلوائیوں کو لوٹ مار کی کھلی چھوٹ ملی ہوئی ہے اور پولیس بھی مظلوموں پر ہی ظلم ڈھارہی ہے۔ پورے متاثرہ علاقہ میں پولیس فورس تعینات ہے۔ایس ٹی ایف کے کمانڈو دستے اور سی آر پی ایف کے جوانوں نے مورچہ سنبھال لیا ہے لیکن صورت حال بدستور سخت کشیدہ اور دھماکہ خیز بنی ہوئی ہے۔  اتوار کو درگا پوجا کی مورتی وِسرجن کے جلوس کے دوران مسلم علاقوں سے گزرتے ہوئے ڈی جے پر انتہائی اشتعال انگیز گانے بجائے گئے اور پھر مسلمانوں کے ایک مکان پر چڑھ کر زبردستی سبز پرچم ہٹا کر بھگوا پرچم لہرایاگیا۔اس کے بعد پھوٹ پڑے تشدد کا سلسلہ آئندہ  دو دنوں تک جاری رہا اور تشدد کی وارداتیں اب بھی ہو رہی ہیں۔ضلع کے فخرپور، قیصر گنج، گائے گھاٹ اور شہرکے مختلف علاقوں میں مورتی وِسرجن کے جلوس کے دوران شرپسندوں نے ہتھیاروں کا مظاہرہ کیا، ایک مزار میں آگ لگا دی۔ مدرسوں اور عبادت گاہوں پر پتھراؤ کیا، شہر کے چوک بازار سے متصل گنج تالاب مارکیٹ میں مسلمانوں کی دکانوں کو نشانہ بنایا، گاڑیوں کو آگ کے حوالے کیا اور پولیس یاتو اس میں شریک تھی یا تماشائی بنی رہی۔ مشاورت کا ماننا ہے کہ صدر جمہوریہ اور سپریم کورٹ کے چیف جسٹس اس میں مداخلت کریں اور معاملے کی اعلی سطحی جانچ کرائی جائے تاکہ مظلوموں کو انصاف مل سکے۔

नफरत और हिंसा की राजनीति अस्वीकार्य, देश के सामाजिक ताने-बाने के लिए गंभीर खतरा: फिरोज अहमद एडवोकेट नई दिल्ली: मुस्लिम संगठनों और प्रतिष्ठित हस्तियों के परिसंघ ऑल इंडिया मुस्लिम मजलिस ए मुशावरत (AIMMM) ने पुलिस के संरक्षण में बहराइच के मेहसी और अन्य जगहों पर रविवार से चल रहे दंगों पर गहरी चिंता व्यक्त की है। मुशावरत के अध्यक्ष श्री फिरोज अहमद एडवोकेट ने कहा कि सांप्रदायिक नफरत और हिंसा की राजनीति से देश का सामाजिक ताना-बाना गंभीर रूप से खतरे में पड़ गया है। उन्होंने इसके लिए सीधे तौर पर उत्तर प्रदेश की जोगी सरकार को जिम्मेदार बताते हुए मुख्यमंत्री के इस्तीफे की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा है कि यूपी पुलिस दंगाइयों का साथ दे रही है, तस्वीरों और वीडियो में देखा जा सकता है कि अल्पसंख्यक आबादी पर हमला करने वाली भीड़ में कभी पुलिस आगे आगे चल रही है और दंगाई पीछे चल रहे हैं, तो कभी दंगाई पीछे – पीछे चल रहे हैं और पुलिस आगे आगे चल रही है। श्री अहमद ने कहा कि बहराइच में जो हिंसा की घटनाएं हुई हैं, वे आकस्मिक नहीं थीं, वे योजनाबद्ध थीं, पहले दंगा हुआ और अब निर्दोष लोगों पर अत्याचार किया जा रहा है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के वरिष्ठ वकील श्री अहमद ने कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट के उस फैसले को बहुत दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बताया है, जिसमें मस्जिद में घुसकर जयश्री राम के नारे लगाने वाले आरोपियों के खिलाफ दर्ज अपराध के मामले को निरस्त कर दिया गया, जबकि उन्होंने सामाजिक सौहार्द और कानून व्यवस्था को नष्ट करने की साजिश रची थी। उन्होंने कहा कि कोर्ट की यह टिप्पणी ज्यादा अफसोसजनक है कि मस्जिद के अंदर जयश्री राम का नारा लगाने से किसी की धार्मिक भावनाओं को ठेस नहीं पहुंचती। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस और जजों के इसी व्यवहार से उपद्रवियों के हौसले बुलंद होते हैं।  दुर्गा पूजा जुलूस के दौरान मुस्लिमों के घर पर चढ़कर हरा धार्मिक झंडा हटाने, भगवा झंडा लहराने और जुलूस के साथ डीजे पर भड़काऊ गाने बजाने से इलाके में दंगा भड़क गया, क्योंकि पुलिस ने उपद्रवियों को रोकने की कोशिश नहीं की।  उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार और प्रशासन दंगों पर काबू पाने में अभी भी नाकाम है, लगातार तीसरे दिन अल्पसंख्यक इलाकों पर हमले, गुरुवार को फर्जी मुठभेड़ में पुलिस द्वारा मुस्लिम युवकों को गंभीर रूप से घायल कर दिया गया और अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के लोगों को एकतरफा तौर पर मौत के घाट उतारा और उन पर हिंसा की जा रही है। बहराइच के मेहसी तहसील के महराजगंज में रविवार शाम को भड़के दंगे गांवों तक फैल गए और उपद्रवियों ने पूरे दिन अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के घरों, दुकानों और पूजा स्थलों को बेरोकटोक निशाना बनाया। उपद्रवी समूह के रूप में आसपास के इलाकों में सक्रिय हैं और अभी भी हमले कर रहे हैं क्योंकि उन्हें पुलिस और सरकार का संरक्षण प्राप्त है। मुशावरत के अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि जब तक आदित्यनाथ सत्ता में हैं, यह सिलसिला नहीं रुक सकता। स्थानीय निवासी पुलिस और प्रशासन की भूमिका की आलोचना कर रहे हैं लेकिन उनकी चीख-पुकार कोई नहीं सुन रहा है। जब दंगाइयों का समूह तोड़फोड़, आगजनी और लूटपाट करके गांव से चला जाता है, तो पुलिस आती है और उत्पीड़ित लोगों को निशाना बनाती है। पुलिस ने स्थिति पर काबू पाने का दावा किया है लेकिन सच्चाई यह है कि दंगाइयों को लूटपाट की खुली छूट मिल गई है और पुलिस भी पीड़ितों पर जुल्म ढा रही है। पूरे प्रभावित इलाके में पुलिस बल तैनात कर दिया गया है। एसटीएफ कमांडो और सीआरपीएफ के जवानों ने मोर्चा संभाल लिया है लेकिन स्थिति तनावपूर्ण और विस्फोटक बनी हुई है। रविवार को दुर्गा पूजा मूर्ति विसर्जन जुलूस के दौरान मुस्लिम इलाकों से गुजरते समय डीजे पर बेहद भड़काऊ गाने बजाए गए और फिर जबरन हरा झंडा उतार कर मुसलमानों के एक घर पर भगवा झंडा फहरा दिया गया। इसके बाद हिंसा भड़क उठी। यह सिलसिला अगले दो दिनों तक जारी रहा। फखरपुर, कैसरगंज, गायघाट और शहर के अलग-अलग इलाकों में मूर्ति विसर्जन जुलूस के दौरान उपद्रवियों ने हथियारों का प्रदर्शन किया और एक धर्मस्थल में आग लगा दी, मदरसों और इबादतगाहों पर पथराव किया परामर्शदात्री समिति का मानना है कि भारत के राष्ट्रपति और मुख्य न्यायाधीश को इस मामले में हस्तक्षेप करना चाहिए तथा एक उच्च स्तरीय जांच गठित करनी चाहिए ताकि पीड़ितों को इंसाफ मिल सके।

AIMMM on Bahraich riots and Karnataka High Court verdict:

The politics of hatred and violence is unacceptable, posing serious threats to the social fabric of the country: Feroze Ahmed Advocate New Delhi: The All India Muslim Majlis e Mushawarat (AIMMM), the only confederation of Muslim organizations and personalities of eminence, has expressed deep concerns over the riots that have been going on since Sunday in Mehsi and other places of Bahraich with the support of the police. Mr. Feroze Ahmed Advocate, president of AIMMM said that the social fabric of the country has been seriously under danger by the politics of communal hatred and violence. Calling the Jogi government of Uttar Pradesh directly responsible for this, he has demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister. He has said that the UP police is supporting the rioters, in the pictures and videos it can be seen that in the crowd attacking the minority population, sometimes the police are moving forward and the rioters are walking behind, while sometimes the rioters are walking behind and the police are moving forward. Mr. Ahmad said that the acts of violence that took place in Bahraich were not accidental, they were planned actions, first there was a riot and now the innocent people are being oppressed. Mr. Ahmad a senior Supreme Court lawyer has described the decision of the Karnataka High Court as very unfortunate, in which the case of crimes filed against the accused persons who entered a mosque and shouted Jaishree Ram slogans was quashed, while they had conspired to destroy social harmony and law and order. He said that this remark of the court is more regrettable that chanting Jaishree Ram inside the mosque does not hurt anyone’s religious sentiments. He said that miscreants are encouraged by the same behavior of police and judges.  During the Durga Puja procession, climbing a Muslim house and removing a green religious flag, waving a saffron flag and playing inflammatory songs on a DJ along with the procession led to riots in the area as the police chased the miscreants did not try to stop him. UP government and administration are still unable to control the riots, attacks on minority areas for the third day in a row, Muslim youths were seriously injured by the police in a fake encounter on Thursday and people belonging to the minority community were unilaterally killed and being subjected to violence. The riots that broke out in Mehrajganj of Mehsi tehsil of Bahraich on Sunday evening spread to the villages and miscreants unabatedly targeted houses, shops and places of worship of the minority community throughout the day.   The miscreants have been active in the surrounding areas in the form of groups and are still carrying out attacks as they have the support of the police and the government. President of AIMMM said that this process cannot stop as long as Adityanath is in power. Local residents are criticizing the role of the police and administration but no one is listening to their cries. When the group of rioters goes to the village by vandalizing, arson and looting, then the police come and they target the oppressed poeple. Internet services are down in the district. The police claimed to have brought the situation under control But the truth is that the rioters have got free rein to loot and the police are also oppressing the victims. Police force has been deployed in the entire affected area. STF commandos and CRPF jawans have taken the front but the situation remains tense and explosive.  During the Durga Puja idol immersion procession on Sunday, very provocative songs were played on the DJ while passing through the Muslim areas and then the green flag was forcibly removed and the saffron flag was hoisted on a house of Muslims. After that, violence erupted. The series continued for the next two days. During the idol immersion procession in Fakhrpur, Qaisarganj, Gayghat and different areas of the city, miscreants displayed weapons and set fire to a shrine, Stones were pelted on madrassas and places of worship, Muslim shops were targeted at Ganj Talab Market adjacent to the city’s Chowk Bazaar, vehicles were set on fire and the police were either complicit or bystanders. The consultation believes that the President of India and the CJI should intervene in this matter and should be setup a high level enquiry.
