This is the act of anti-humanity. The murderers of innocent tourists cannot be well-wishers of Kashmir or Muslims. There is no place for terrorism in Islam: All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat

New Delhi: The killing of innocent tourists at the hands of terrorists in Pahalgam is a heinous act that must be condemned unconditionally. Those who kill innocent people can be no friends to Kashmir or to Muslims. Whoever carried out this barbaric attack is an enemy of both Kashmir and Islam. These sentiments were expressed by Feroze Ahmed Advocate, President of the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat, in response to the killing of 28 tourists in Pahalgam on Tuesday.
He stated that terrorism has no place in Islam, and the Quran equates the killing of one innocent life to the killing of all humanity. He emphasized that this incident must be investigated immediately and appropriate action should be taken. Enemies of peace should not be allowed to divide society. We must unite against this attack on our nation and our unity.
Those spreading rumors that the attackers were asking for religion and names before killing should also be held accountable and investigated while eyewitnesses have stated that the attackers were firing blindly from hiding in the forest.
The President of the AIMMM said that criminal acts based on religion are a serious threat to the peace and security of the nation and society. The media should also highlight that while the terrorists committed brutal violence, the common Kashmiri people have expressed disgust and hatred towards this act. Announcements from mosques have condemned this attack, indicating that the common Muslim in Kashmir desires peace and harmony and holds strong feelings of human compassion and brotherhood.
The AIMMM stated that giving this tragedy a religious color is wrong and misleading. Among the victims were Muslims as well. Reports suggest that during the attack, local people risked their lives to save many tourists and took the injured to hospitals. No official assistance arrived for a long time after the attack; there were no vehicles available to transport the injured. In such circumstances, locals came out of their homes and saved many lives, even putting themselves in danger to get the injured to nearby hospitals.
